Even plays into the dungeon's main boss somewhat, lol.
The story on its own is very fun and simple, and what makes it a good fan comic is the fact that it could as well be a part of canon universe. Even more now, when webcomic reveleaded that not only fisherman village suffered from female shortage, but the whole world. Could it be ZeroForever was inspired by you?
thanks for the critic
Actually I lettered my first too-crappy-to-post-anywhere comics in MS Paint. They weren't pretty, but at least legible.
Some notable programs like this would be:
Photofiltre (not commercial Photofiltre Studio, older versions) is very basic and easy to use, though it doesn't have layers.
Paint.NET is quite similar (though not as intuitive as the latter) AND there are layers.
GIMP is almost as advanced as Photoshop, but totally free.
